With nearly 20 years of experience in business development and in marketing communications, Diane Carey is the president and founder of Carey Consultants. Her dedication, expertise and excellent network have allowed her to carve out a position in the Canadian market.
Recognized for her dynamic skill set and her strategic vision, she exploits the maximum potential of each of the mandates entrusted to her, in addition of showing great listening and admirable respect with her clients. Sitting on various boards of directors and committees has allowed her to enhance her social involvement is of great inspiration in her community and within the Province. She stands out for her personalized approach, her thoroughness, her professionalism, but above all, for the quality relationships she maintains with her customers and contacts.
Diane Carey holds a Bachelor degree of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Université de Moncton. She has held various positions in communications, public relations and marketing.
From 2003 to 2008, Diane Carey held the position of Youth Development Officer for Enterprise Peninsula. She developed the first repatriation program in New Brunswick Je reviens! J’y reste! and the first job-matching website in New Brunswick: EmploisPA.ca.
Her outstanding work has earned her several honors and awards, including the:
- Young Entrepreneur of the Year of the CBDC Acadian Peninsula;
- Emergence Award of the Université de Moncton;
- Acadie-Québec Award;
- Young Leader Rural Canada Award (Innovation category).
In 2008, she was recognized as one of the 21 most promising 21st century leaders in New Brunswick (21 Inc.).
In 2017, she was invited to participate in a restricted round table with Her Excellency the Honorable Michaëlle Jean, on the issues of women's entrepreneurship in the international Francophone space.
In addition to owning her own business, she is involved as a volunteer on these board of directors:
- Chair of Youth Success New Brunswick;
- Vice-Chair of Succès Jeunesse Acadian Peninsula;
- Community Foundation of Canada;
- Tracadie COOP IGA;
- Alumni of Université de Moncton in Shippagan;
- Tracadie Hospital Foundation;
